Shipping & Fulfilment Policy
MNE Waste Management (PTY) LTD
We accept online orders for delivery within South Africa only. Compass supports MNE deliveries and waste collections through its own warehouse and operational network across South Africa. Product and service availability depends on the destination, product type, verification requirements, stock, route availability, and operational capacity.
1. Delivery and collection coverage
Online delivery is limited to addresses in South Africa. Compass provides the operational delivery and waste-collection network used for relevant MNE orders and services. Availability, timing, collection routes, and waste-stream requirements are confirmed for the relevant destination and request; nationwide network coverage does not guarantee that every product or waste service is immediately available at every address.
2. Processing and fulfilment
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays. MNE reviews the order and any required business, site, or waste-stream information. Where the order is accepted, Compass fulfils delivery or collection through its own warehouse and operational network as applicable. Timelines depend on stock, order type, supplier lead times, route schedules, and any information required to review the requested product or service.
- General medical waste products: allow approximately 2–3 business days for account or service review, followed by an estimated 1–5 business days for initial delivery where the order is approved, stock is available, and the route is confirmed.
- VMMC kits: small quantities may take up to 15 business days; bulk preparation may take approximately 2–6 weeks.
- PPE: standard orders may take approximately 2–7 business days; bulk orders may take approximately 2–4 weeks.
These are estimates, not guarantees. MNE will communicate material changes where reasonably possible.
3. Verification and supporting information
MNE may request business, practice, site, waste-stream, or service information before fulfilment. Western Cape orders or collection requests may require supporting waste-management documentation, including IPWIS registration information where applicable. MNE will confirm what is needed for the requested service. Customers remain responsible for confirming requirements applicable to their operations.
4. Delivery charges and split orders
Available delivery charges are shown at checkout or confirmed as part of a service quotation. Orders may be split where products have different lead times, suppliers, routes, warehouses, or handling arrangements.
5. Dispatch, notifications, and receipt
Where tracking is available through Compass or another approved service provider, it will be supplied after dispatch. Some medical-waste products or services use scheduled notifications instead of courier tracking. Customers must provide an accurate South African delivery or collection address and ensure safe access and an authorised recipient.
6. Delays, damaged items, and missing shipments
Public holidays, stock constraints, supplier delays, severe weather, strikes, route changes, or operational disruption can affect fulfilment. If an order is damaged or missing, retain the packaging and contact MNE promptly with the order details and photographs where relevant. Where Compass or another approved service provider is involved, responsibility will be assessed based on the circumstances and applicable terms, and MNE will assist with the claim process where possible.
7. Waste collection services
Collection dates are scheduled after the requested service, location, route, and site information have been reviewed. Compass performs relevant collections through its operational network where the service is confirmed. Customers must maintain safe storage before pickup in line with their site procedures and requirements applicable to them. Missed collections may require rescheduling and may attract an additional fee where communicated.
8. Returns and physical addresses
MNE's Head Office is not presented as a returns, dispatch, warehouse, or waste drop-off depot. Do not send products, waste, or returns to the Head Office or any warehouse unless MNE has provided written instructions for the specific order or service.
9. Compliance approach
MNE aims to follow requirements applicable to each product, waste stream, service, and location. Requirements can differ by province, customer type, site, and service. This policy is general information, not legal advice or confirmation that a customer, facility, product, or service is accredited or compliant.
